In between 2016 and 2017 I filmed a series of 8 films for the web which became some of the best performing films on the British Council Arts Youtube channel.
Walking Cities: Shakespeare Lives project brought together writers from across the European continent to hold conversations around the impact of Shakespearean themes in our current times.
In this series of films I developed the visual style and technical approach working as cinematographer along with Juan Martos, who directed the talent.
Under the guidelines of the British Council Literature team, we delivered a series of 5 to 8 min documentary films working in more than 6 countries and liaising with producers, authors and assistants in each of the cities.
The project exemplifies the importance of making culture relevant to different audiences and using different channels for its dissemination.
